The Two Frogs

 10. The Two Frogs

Once upon a time, two frogs were living in a pond. They were the best of friends and spent their days swimming, playing, and enjoying life together. One day, while they were exploring a nearby field, they came across a deep well.

Curious, the two frogs peered into the well. The first frog said, “This well looks like a great place to explore! Let’s jump in and see how deep it is!”

The second frog, more cautious, replied, “Wait! What if we can’t get back out? We should be careful.”

But the first frog was excited and jumped into the well, calling out, “Don’t worry! I’ll be fine!”

The second frog watched as the first frog hopped deeper into the well. After a while, the first frog realized that the walls of the well were too steep for him to climb back out. He began to panic and called for help, but there was no one around to hear him.

Meanwhile, the second frog, concerned for his friend, thought carefully about how to help. He decided to look for something sturdy to help his friend climb out. After some time, he found a long stick and carefully lowered it into the well.

“Grab onto this stick!” he called out to his friend. The first frog, grateful and relieved, grabbed hold of the stick. With the help of his friend, he was finally able to climb out of the well.

Once he was back on solid ground, the first frog thanked his friend profusely. “I should have listened to you. I was too eager to jump in without thinking!”

The second frog replied, “Sometimes, it’s important to be cautious and think things through before acting.”

Moral of the story: Think before you act. Hasty decisions can lead to trouble, but having a friend who cares can help you out of difficult situations.
